Wyoming is now the first U.S state to outlaw abortion pills

Wyoming is now the first state in a divided America that has outlawed the use of otherwise legal abortion pills. According to reports, the state’s GOP governor Mark Gordon enacted the pill ban against the backdrop of a larger battle across the United States. Following the fall of Roe v Wade, GOPers and their hardline extremists have sought to outlaw abortion pills.

The Washington Post reports people who take the pills, which are permissible to treat “natural miscarriages,” will not face criminal prosecution.

More GOP states are expected to follow suit but it likely and almost certainly will be challenged in a court of law.

REMINDER: Regardless of which GOP state bans abortion or said pills they remain legal in other states.
