Kevin McCarthy now denies that Republicans are going to go after social security and medicare

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has now reversed course for the GOP and now claims that the party will not seek cuts to popular American social programs. According to McCarthy, the GOP will no longer seek direct cuts to Social Security and to Medicare two of America’s most popular retirement programs. A large part of the GOP base depends on both of these programs to get on with their daily lives and sustain themselves both literally and medically.

In an hour long interview posted online, McCarthy made the comments in a new Rumble interview. The advice he is now taking comes from none other than Donald Trump who previously basically admitted that their base has largely paid into these for their lives.
