Queen Elizabeth would like people to stop trying to give her an “Oldie” award (chuckles.) According to the BBC, the monarch turned down an award from the aptly titled “Oldie Magazine” because she simply doesn’t feel old.
“Her Majesty believes you are as old as you feel, as such The Queen does not believe she meets the relevant criteria to be able to accept, and hopes you will find a more worthy recipient,” her assistant private secretary told the magazine following the announcement and decline.
