Texas judge has a penchant for letting rapists off the hook

In Texas,  rape, apparently isn’t something that lands someone  where they belong.  According to court documents unsealed by the Associated Press, uh, one former Baylor University student has managed to get off. Without-a-charge after having raped a young woman by punch-induced alcohol at a frat party.

Former University fraternity president Jacob Anderson, uh, raped a young girl at a house party/frat party sometime in the last year.   The young woman alleged in her sexual assault complaint that she was “plied with what would later be known as alcohol” but originally thought it was just punch.

This, perhaps, is where the sexual assault complaint got much murkier. The woman went on to claim that she was taken outside for “air” where she was then taken behind a secluded area — and raped multiple times.

The judge presiding over Anderson’s case, in fact,  let Anderson off the hook per the AP.  Judge Strother, who has a history of doing such to men ,  gave him no probation and simply a fine. He will not have to register as a sex offender of any kind.
