Reports claim Obama broke the law in Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap

Dahl1WASHINGTON, D.C — Which if proven, could cost the President of the United States dearly. According to an Armed Forces report picked up by numerous outlets this week, the prisoner swap for 5 Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for U.S soldier Bowe Bergdahl was “down right illegal”. The report goes on to claim that the Obama Administration fervently “disobeyed and deceived Congress” by permitting the swap.

Lawmakers claim that there is a “clause” in prisoner swaps that allow them up to 30 days notice before any official swap goes through.  Furthermore,   committee members claim that no notice was given — and that the move was part of Obama’s promise to close the controversial Guantanamo Bay Prison.

The weird part?  Per CNN House officials and committee members claim that they learned more of the swap from a Taliban statement than from their own Department of Defense.
