He was known as the face of ESPNs’ Sports Center, a personality known for being ‘upbeat’ and ready to report for duty. But, this week, ESPN lost a lightning rod among its hosts after Stuart Scott died on 4 January of complications in a long battle with cancer.
Scott, was first diagnosed with cancer in 2007. Despite his diagnosis, Scott kept to his duties at ESPN the ‘place he loved to be’.
