She was a force to be reckoned with, literally. Noted as the first Jewish Miss America, Beth Myerson became the first of such back in 1945 just after the war. Officials confirmed that Myerson died at her home in Santa Monica, Calif at the age of 90.
Myerson, became a force among the New York scene following her landmark stint as Miss America — until er political scandals and wrongdoings earned her the nickname ‘Bess Mess’.
