Al-Shabaab

What that means in Arabic, is, “The Youth”. The group hasn’t quite attracted allot of attention to itself yet, but, with the rise and sometimes fall of ISIS the group is hoping to make one final play for power.

Their goal? According to foreign officials, they want to turn Somalia into an entire Islamic state complete with the enacted Sharia Law and the like.

Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham

This group was once closely associated with Al-Qaeda until they spun off on their own. Now, the group wants to further their terrorism ambitions in Syria by turning the troubled country into an Islamic state.

Ansarullah Bangla Team

Known shorthsnd as ABT, these guys are considered defenders of the Islamic state especially in countries like Bangladesh.  According to foreign officials, these guys are apparently known to file against bloggers and liberal voices. Yes, even those that may consider themselves secular.

“Let Bangladesh revoke the citizenship of these enemies of Islam,” a statement from the group said. “If not, we will hunt them down in whatever part of God’s world we find them and kill them right there.”
