Snapchat is popular these days, but one particular feature, often goes unused. Whether that be you’ve never heard of it, or, simply just don’t know how — we’re here to help. We’ve gotten a few questions lately, as to how, one actually views the Snapchat map of your friends online and where they are.

- Open Snapchat
After opening Snapchat, navigate to your. add friends section in the dark screen. By swiping up, you will activate the location function to allow Snapchat permission to access your location.
2. Here’s the fine print..
Snapchat will then take you through a bunch of permissions to make sure you realize that you’re giving the app access to your location at all times and to allow others to see where you are (at any given time guys! remember that!). whether 20 30 0r 45 minutes ago — people will be able to see where you are.
3. Mission accomplished
The Snapmap is now active, and, by scrolling up a bit you can actually see the entire area in which you are in.
