South Korea’s President offers resignation amid massive protests


Amid growing protests and concerns that Park herself is “unusually corrupt” the Korean president has reportedly offered her resignation.  According to the office of the President,  she will only resign if parliament strikes up the technical details.

But, the Minjoo Party has made it clear that they won’t allow her to escape the pending impeachment discussions.  Per the opposition party, the discussed impeachment proceedings could apparently begin as soon as Friday.
