Prince’s version of Nothing Compares 2 U is here [Watch]

Investigation into Prince ‘s death ends in no charges

A few years ago, The Daily News was the first to reveal  the cause of Prince 's death when he overdosed on unauthorized and illegal drugs. Now,    authorities say that no charges will be brought against the Minnesota doctor that illegally gave Prince the drugs when he was found dead in his Paisley Park estate. "There is no reliable evidence showing how Prince obtained the counterfeit Vicodin containing fentaynl," said Carver County Attorney Mark Metz, per the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

MINNESOTA --  After weeks of digging; information leaks, and a brief discussion about the identity of the doctor -- images of  the doctor named in the death of Prince Roger Nelson have been released, Dr. Michael Schulenberg, as previously reported by The Daily News, is the doctor that knowingly prescribed Prince a plethora of different drugs. The same drugs, er, that are believed to have led to Prince's widely circulated drug addiction. The Daily News has now confirmed that Schulenberg has admitted to Minnesota authorities that he was on the premises of the Paisley Park estate in which was owned by Prince when Prince was found dead. MINNEAPOLIS -- In a string of documents released to The Daily News,  we've got more to disclose on the death of Prince Rogers Nelson. According to the police documents,  the singer's Paisley Park estate was the subject of 47 police visits/calls over the past 5 years and 3 as of the last 9 months. The previous three phone calls to police were "similar to the investigation currently underway" per the documents themselves.   The second set of documents leaked to the Daily News confirmed that Prince died just 20 minutes after ambulancemen arrived at his $10m estate at 9:50 am the day he died. Reports: Pop legend Prince, 57, died of AIDS

MINNESOTA --  Newly published reports out this morning all but confirming previously published beliefs: Prince had aids. According to sources who spoke to the Santa Monica Observer, Prince had actually been diagnosed with aids in the 1990's -- but  only recently stopped taking his medicine after converting to Johavah's witness. Prince was reportedly among those that believed God could cure his illnesses, and, essentially stopped all treatments. Sources told the paper that Prince was spotted in a parking lot last night pacing back and forth, just hours before he was found dead in an elevator.   A formal investigation into the singer's death is underway. BREAKING NEWS: Legendary singer Prince dead at 57

MINNESOTA -- Shocking news in the world of music today. Police in Minnesota have confirmed that the body of legendary singer Prince Rogers Nixon was found at his Minnesota compound Thursday morning. The singer was 57. A confirmation also comes from the singers publicist who confirmed the death following news of a body discovery at Prince's compound. Circumstances surrounding his death are unknown and currently under investigation. "It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57," said his publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.
