Jodie Turner-Smith set to headline Witcher prequel again

Jodie 's back and she's ready for action once more. According to Panjiba, Turner-Smith is poised to headline yet another Witcher prequel. Panjiba notes that like most of us the Witcher was easy to watch, but, easier to just as fast forget. From Deadline: Set in an elven world 1,200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time - the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal “conjunction of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.

Asia Argento has sensationally accused another Hollywood director of sexual assault

Is it book sales or is it legitimate? One may never know when it comes to Asia Argento and her conquest to take down Hollywood men. Argento, who herself has long been accused of being a predator, has now accused XxX dierector Rob Cohen of sensational claims. The claims first appeared in an Italian newspaper called Il Corriere della Sera. ‘It’s the first time I’m talking about Cohen,’ she said, according to Variety. ‘He abused me, making me drink GHB – he had a bottle of it,’ she said, referring to the anaesthetic drug often used in date rapes. ‘I discovered later, speaking with a friend who opened my eyes about that substance [GHB],’ she said. Mr. Cohen 's reps meanwhile woke up Monday to find themselves forcibly having to go on the defensive. Mr. Cohen categorically ...

Despite calls for Warner Bros to read the room and understand that Wonder Woman 1984 wasn’t all that great — it appears the next installment is coming. On Sunday, the AT&T owned company confirmed that Wonder Woman 3 (which appears to be the final part) is coming on a fast-tracked basis. Netflix has been sued over claims that it stole the storyline for its smash hit #OuterBanks

Netflix Inc has had a wildly successful year but this time part of that year may come crashing down. For those that haven’t seen it — Outer Banks is a popular Netflix show about a group of rag-tag teenagers that eventually stumble across a reported treasure. The story aptly takes place along what is known the “Outer Banks” of North Carolina. Wooten is demanding damages and a title credit in the episodes indicating that the story is based on his novel series. The problem is there is now an author who says Netflix appears to have lifted the entire storyline from his popular self-published series that was previously available online. That author has reportedly been identified as K.W. Wooten — the author of the series now known to be Pennywise: The Hunt For Blackbeard ‘s Treasure. ...

Movie Review: Ryan Phillippe stars in The 2nd

Movies are certainly something we’ve become accustomed alongside given the lockdown orders and such plaguing much of the world. For Sunday’s entry in our movie catalog, we’re going to review The 2nd starring Ryan Phillippe. The 2nd is about a political family and their daughter who is nearly kidnapped by Russian operatives. Rating: 3.5 Stars Editors comments: Phillippe is an action star at his finest. High-action; ass kicking, straight up coolness reigns supreme throughout The 2nd. While some of the acting lines seem a bit dull, the action makes up for where the lines leave off. High moments: Ryan faces off with a set of corrupt CIA officials apparently trying to overturn citizens’ right to the 2nd Amendment. Thrilling; fun, and a partial edge of your seat action fi...

Senile Stacey Dash apparently tried to voodoo the fuck out of her husband: Reports

Jeffrey Marty, the former husband of actress and estranged Republican Stacey Dash has uh some interesting claims he's got surfacing in court documents. Here’s how to watch HBO and Netflix with your friends while you quarantine (or may be apart for other reasons)

Quarantine has brought me closer than ever to the few people I actually count as friends. We've watched countless hours of tv; binged All American, and currently are watching the ever-so-juicy Greenleaf. Thanks to apps like Scener (a Google Chrome app) we've been able to without issue stream together from afar; chat while doing so, and take turns with the remote. Scener is an online web-app that runs as if it were a movie theatre. The app opens up to a theatre room whereas you create your room; select your remote, and select either HBO or Netflix to login with. After selecting a room you have the option of sending your theatre code to a friend so they can join. Scener actually also comes with a viewing party function (you can physically see and speak to them also.) That is...

3 Things You Should Be Watching Right Now On T.V

Quarantine has brought me far closer to my television and devices than I've probably been throughout my entire publishing career. I find it bemusing that streaming networks and such suddenly are releasing all of the good shows we've wanted for so long, but that's an article for another time. Recently, I found 4 good ones that are well worth the time to consume. Altered Carbon I'll be the first to admit when I see an unusual title on Netflix I almost always scroll right on by. But after numerous recommendations to check out this gem right here, I can truthfully say it is well worth the time. Altered Carbon is a scientific-ish type show (there are both seasons up right now to get your fix) that focuses on life in the future; futuristic humans, the fact that humans may not actu...

Movie Review: In modern America #AmericanSon is a black person ‘s worst nightmare come true

Tonight I had the pleasure of watching Kerry Washington 's Broadway play ("American Son") on Netflix [it was adapted into a film.]   The film surrounds Kendra (Kerry Washington) and Scott Connor (Steve Pasquale) and their interracial mixed family. The film almost instantly begins like an opening scene from pre-civil rights movement movie from the 60's.  Connor 's blatant racism; downright distaste for other black kids, and even his own disenchantment of his own wife's personal struggles as a black woman are without a doubt terrifying.  The film doesn't move from the "Miami Police Department" station where it originally took place. Warning: This film contains serious racial undertones that may upset viewers. The cop in this film is the cop of all cops that nobody ever wants to encounter. ...

ScarJo, Hollywood ‘s self-declared racial superhero defends Woody Allen

ScarJo, the white woman whom we've come to learn thinks she can play a racial role of just about any possible ethnicity, apparently also believes that rapists should be let off the hook. By rapists, we're referring to those who knowingly rape their own daughter. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter,Scarlett defended disgraced movie producer Woody Allen (who has long been accused of raping his own daughter and then marrying his own step daughter..you read that right) citing that she would still work with him despite the controversy. “I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it,” she explained. “I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him.” She seemingly blamed the problem ag...
