DALLAS -- The cop responsible for the April 29th murder of Jordan Edwards, 15, has been charged with murder according to what The Daily News has learned. According to an arrest warrant issued Friday, Roy Oliver, a former cop (he was quickly fired) was formally charged with murder after it was declared he "intended to cause great harm to human life by shooting into that car".
The warrant states that Oliver may now be arrested by any "civil officer" or simply turn himself into authorities in a timely manner. The murder of Jordan Edwards was captured on social media for the world to see, a murder, we covered on both Instagram and our newspaper.
Below is one of the last photos taken of Edwards alive, indeed, standing next to his father.
