Biden will spend the day holding talks with business leaders while Trump ‘s trial begins

U.S President Biden will spend his Tuesday engaging with business leaders and makers in an effort to undermine the Trump trial set to begin right now. According to reports, the meeting will also include Treasury Secretary Yellen who hopes to further discuss the $1.9T rescue package Biden hopes will help keep America afloat. We will follow these updates as they become more readily available and the moves the administration intends to make.

9 years later, the feds in America have raised their rates

WASHINGTON -- 9 years after the last "rate hike" (think Myspace era)  Janet Yellen,  has officially raised the rates in America -- and people are curious about it.  As NBC rounded up, not everybody is to keen to the raise with some preparing for a news conference starring Yellen to get their questions answered. According to the feds, Yellen reportedly raised the rates a modest 0.25%.  The last raise of such (well, of any kind) was actually in 2006.   Investors haven't much responded to the raise yet, however, Dow remained 100 points in the black as of this writing.

After months of speculation,  it appears that Janet  Yellen is on her way out as federal chairwoman of the Federal Reserve.    Reports indicate that Trump wants to replace Yellen,  but,  keep many of her policies.  The likely replacement?  Word on Washington is that Jerome H.  Powell has come out on top to take over the position.  The news comes as the White House has found itself reeling following the indictments of three of  Trump's associates.

Janet Yellen isn’t going after Wells Fargo

At least not anytime soon. At a Federal Reserve Press Conference in Washington this week, Yellen, indicated that "Just because a corporation is large", well, we all know what comes after that.  In her speech, Yellen, further stated that "stuff like this is challenging" rather than indicating that she would go after John Stumpf for financial fraud both from a personal and business perspective. Wells Fargo has found itself in the midst of intensifying scrutiny this week after even more reports surfaced of unethical behavior regarding fake accounts, and, how more than 5,000 employees were wrongfully fired when they tried to do the right thing.
