Ethan Couch has a new lawyer, in hopes of staying in Mexico forever

MEXICO CITY --  The war to retrieve Ethan Couch is on, and, it looks like it's going to last for some time. According to reports, the deeply troubled 18-year-old "Affluenza Teen" has apparently hired a "hot shot" Mexican lawyer to help him in his quest to remain in Mexico. However, despite such attempts, such wouldn't actually be possible without an asylum request. Couch notably won a delay in his deportation late last month after he claimed that his "rights" were violated and his "constitutional" rights weren't followed during his arrest in Puerto Vallarta.  Experts say that because Couch has won a "stay" in Mexico, a trial is imminent, and he could be in the country for months. By claiming that Mexican authorities violated Couch's human rights during his arrest, perhaps, a judg...

According to reports,  Ethan, remains in Mexico City whereas his mother Tonya was previously deported earlier this week back to Los Angeles for arraignment for her own part in his fleeing the country on criminal charges. Tonya Couch, “Affluenza” teen’s mom, deported back to America

LOS ANGELES --  Bad news for one Tonya Couch, er, perhaps because she's now going to face those charges of helping her fugitive son escape probation violation charges. According to the United States Marshall Service, Couch, was deported from Guadalajara Mexico to Los Angeles via private plane early this morning. Ethan, however, may remain in Mexico for months as legal wrangling continues over whether or not he can be taken back to the United States.   Couch, famously killed four people in a previous drunk driving incident -- and feels that he did no wrong [at least based on his actions]. Report: Affluenza teen caught in Mexico after ordering Domino’s Pizza

MEXICO --  Apparently even after dying his hair black, and, er,  partaking in a few cunning attempts to avoid authorities -- Ethan Couch -- wasn't smart enough to realize that police were tracking his cell phone. According to reports,  Couch and his mother Tonya were caught in Puerto Vallerta after they apparently used said phone to order Domino's Pizza. US Marshall's were able to track the phone to a condo complex, whereas, residents confirmed that they had previously seen Couch enter the city.  Not so weirdly, residents tell local news stations that he had been "eating his meals in a corner store" to evade Mexican police. Both he and Tonya remain in Mexico, with an expected deportation to America to occur Wednesday.

Ethan Couch faces just four months in jail: Reports

rIf the case of Ethan Couch makes you sick, turn away now. According to reports, the famed affluenza teen (who was caught in Mexico after running away from Texas) is facing a pretty interesting dilemma per Texas law.  Experts say that Couch, who was a fugitive for some time, may get out of his punishment all together -- thanks to a quirk in  Texas law. The law is pretty shoddy, especially, for someone who killed four people while driving drunk. Per Texas law, because Couch's case is still in the juvenile system he has two options: Be held until he is 19 in the juvenile system or have his case transferred to adult court whereas he will only face 120 days in jail if convicted of that infamous probation violation.
