Chicago restaurant owner caught in racially charged FIGHT on video: Top Story

Troubling news in CHICAGO today as it has been revealed online that a local restaurant owner apparently racially attacked a patron.   Numerous online reports have identified the Poke Poke restaurant and its owner Matthew Fezzey. So here's what went down. Multiple reports indicate that  Matthew Fezzey intentionally came after the unarmed black man, whom, has also been publicly identified.  That man is now known as John "Kyle" Johnson -- an innocent patron of what he thought was a hip trendy restaurant.   Fezzey, per video posted online, swung "multiple chairs at Johnson" all because he claimed "he fought black people last week for allegedly robbing his store". https://videos.dailymail.co.uk/preview/mol/2019/01/09/3232638684409671839/636x382_MP4_3232638684409671839.mp4 We've learned that ...

Kenneka Jenkin’s autopsy report formally released

And she did have a drug in her system that her family says shouldn't of been there.  According to the report,  Kenneka,  "died of hypothermia due to having been inside of the freezer". Although the same report notes the presence of Topamax (a seizure prevention medicine that they found in her system..). The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has ruled the death an accident, although, Jenkin's family is now turning their attention to her friends who were in that room.    The Medical Examiner in their report, noted, that they "did indeed test for all possible date-rape drugs and none were present". Police source: 12 people to be questioned over Kenneka ‘s murder

ROSEMONT, IL -   Police sources close to the investigation into the death of Kenneka Jenkins have confirmed that 12 people are being questioned over the death and their part in it.    Sources say that at least 8 of the 12 people have been confirmed "to have been present" throughout the entire evening leading up to her disappearance and even after. Meanwhile,  sources also indicate that police are "actively trying to pursue the final four who they believe have a deeper connection to the case".    The identities of those 12 are not being released (although we've already released nearly all of them on social media). It's interesting that the police are now trying to question people, mostly, considering that the Coroner's office has already said another autopsy will not be performed. ...

Footage shows Kenneka Jenkin ‘s friend Irene Roberts at Chicago PD

While that appears to already be public information, what's next, isn't entirely.   Our phones have been ringing off the hook all morning with news of Kenneka 's death and what happened that night in the hotel.   We've learned allot since learning of the story early this morning. Here's what we've now discovered. The jacket worn by Irene in the video,  was not Kenneka 's jacket. Kenneka and Irene weren't actually friends.  She was a mutual friend of Monifa (spell check, various spellings of this name out there)  who used  Monifa to get the hotel room at a low price (we've now confirmed this through people who are calling into our news offices.  This was pre-planned before this ever occurred at the hotel). In Irene's live video, it, appears that she may have purposely wore tho...

HORROR: Chicago woman films young woman’s rape on Snapchat

CHICAGO -- Interesting news in Chicago this week (even though it actually happened a few days ago).   Chicago police confirmed to the Daily News that a woman is in Cook County Jail after she apparently decided to get back at a female friend because she couldn't get a man's attention.  Beth Rae Harris, 36,   decided that she would take the victim back to her apartment after a slew of parties. Upon arriving, (she had already been drinking heavily at a hotel party) she passed out.  Prosecutors say Harris invited over multiple men at that point and decided to film what would become of her rape on Snapchat (it was actually posted to a public version of someone's Snapchat story resulting in the whole world seeing it!). Harris was pictured in the video and some of the photos (we've seen the...

Chicago sees devastating hike in homicides

More than they've ever had in the month in January, since, at least 2000. According to statistics released by the Associated Press, more than 51 people including a father of three were killed this month.  Such a high number of homicides is typically seen during the summer in Chicago, whereas, violence tends to stay at its peak during that particular timeframe. Chicago police chalk up the rise in violence, to just that, a rise in violence.  Police officers deny that a decrease in police presence, er, has led to the uptick in murders and homicides.  In recent weeks,  traffic stops and routine police checks have dramatically decreased because 'cops don't want to be criticized, or become the next viral video' per Chicago's interim police chief.
