Police drones to fly over Baltimore in 2020: Report

In a stunning policy reversal, police surveillance drones are coming to Baltimore next year in a desperate attempt by local officials to quell rising violence. In 2019 alone, Baltimore itself has seen more than 350 homicides according to publicly available police data and the police department in itself. Police commissioner Michael Harrison confirmed the news this week during a press conference. According to officials, the pilot program will run about 6 months and will see drones fly over the city during the hours in which violent crimes are most prevalent. “We will be the first American city to use this technology in an attempt to solve and deter violent crime,” Harrison said at a news conference. William Porter ‘s manslaughter trial is now in full swing

BALTIMORE --  The trial of William Porter, et the death of Freddie Gray, is officially and formally in its first full week. Now, prosecutors are knee-deep attempting to convince onlookers in the trial and the jury that Porter knew he was violating police protocol and policy when he failed to provide medical attention to Gray when he allegedly asked. Prosecutors face an uphill battle from this point, considering, most are unsure whether or not they'll successfully be able to convince others that Porter knew there was a "high risk"  of death or serious injury by not getting Gray proper medical attention at the time of his arrest in that vehicle. Five Things We Seen in Day 2 Of  William Porter’s Murder Trial Day 1 of William Porter’s murder trial in the death of Freddie Gray (unfortunately he’s only getting manslaughter)  brought tears; nervousness, and uneasiness to most of Baltimore. Daily News has been on ground since the trial started, most, are uneasy to say the least about what the potential verdict may be.
