The sudden suicide of Love Island alum Caroline Flack sent stunning waves through much of social media and the mental health community, and now it looks like more information surrounding her suicide has surfaced.
According to multiple reports, Flack had been openly struggling with her mental health for quite some time. Allot of those struggles reportedly came from internet bullying; her trial for assault, and deeply personal struggles she dealt with amongst friends according to her own friends.
Most recently, a friend of Flack ‘s was apparently staying with her in her East London flat amid her personal and mental struggles. That friend, who has not been identified, told multiple outlets on Saturday that Flack had been battling depression for some time.
In response to Flack’s suicide, ITV has pulled the most recent episode of Love Island. The future of the show remains uncertain in its whole as many are calling for it to be totally axed.
