As it turns out the battle to charge people for their roles in the U.S Capitol Riots was never quite over it just took longer than expected. This week reports emerged that scores of new Oath Keepers have been arrested for their reported roles in the riots as federal investigators continue to track down the domestic terrorists. The new arrestees include an Ohio couple, Sandra and Bennie Parker. The others facing charges are: Graydon Young of Englewood, Fla.; his sister, Laura Steele of Thomasville, NC; and Kelly Meggs and his wife, Connie Meggs, of Dunnellon, Fla., per the AP. Marjorie Taylor Greene allegedly lied about being held hostage as a child at a Georgia school

That's because a former teacher of Greene 's has come forth revealing that the apparent school shooting Greene has talked about never happened... at least not how she described it recently. According to the Forsyth Georgia school in question, Marjorie was not actually among the students in the classroom or the area during the 1990 school shooting that took place. To our knowledge, she was not in either classroom,' school spokeswoman Jennifer Caracciolo told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after speaking with a retired teacher who was among the hostages.  Marjorie 's comments came recently amid the spat of intense criticism she's received over her debunked and dishonest support for conspiracy theories. Marjorie Taylor Green suddenly regrets her past but doesn’t apologize for it

Marjorie Taylor Green spent her Thursday apparently regretting her past but refusing to apologize for it. On Thursday reports emerged that Green would reportedly face a House vote to be booted from the committees in which she is on -- something Republicans have outright refused to do as a result of her stunningly ignorant past. “I was allowed to believe things that weren’t true and I would ask questions about them and talk about them and that is absolutely what I regret,” she said Thursday, per the Wall Street Journal. “If it weren’t for the Facebook posts and comments that I liked in 2018, I wouldn’t be standing here today and you couldn’t point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong, because I’ve lived a very good life that I’m proud of.” Republicans meanwhile maintain that she...

As backlash grows over Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republicans largely fall silent

This week Marjorie Taylor Greene has become the star of the show. The star of a glittering showcase of GOP hypocrisy; ignorance, and agenda-pushing that has now caused backlash some say is rightfully earned. Earlier this week, videos emerged of Marjorie Taylor Greene the private citizen spewing bizarre conspiracy theories involving then underage children. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone outside of the very few Republicans that usually speak out speaking out. Republicans like Liz Cheney, despite how some may feel about her, remains among those who have consistently rebuked calls or indications of violence. This time the calls come after a video showed Georgian Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene spouting a far-right conspiracy theory that believes school shootings in America are a hoax....

America: Careful homegrown extremists are or may be planning to mobilize again

The National Terrorism Advisory System (yes that is actually a thing) of the United States by way of the Department of Homeland Security has issued a heightened security warning. According to DHS, officials are examining the apparent credible belief that extremists are or may be planning to reportedly attack again. CNN notes that a memo released Wednesday acknowledges that officials believe anti-government and far-right attacks may persist for some time.
