Donald Trump has allot of problems and now the FBI is one of them. According to reports, the Mar-a-Lago estate of the former American politician was raided yesterday by FBI authorities over longstanding claims that Trump mishandled numerous classified documents. Those claims persist and go as far as to claim that Trump took them to Mar-a-Lago for purposes that aren’t quite clear as of yet.
The Department of Justice over in America actively has two cases involving Trump they are the attempt(s) overturn the 2020 presidential election and January 6, 2021 which Trump instigated his followers to essentially overthrow the American government. CNN reports that Trump ‘s legal team has confirmed that the raid resulted in additional documents being seized from the estate.
Previously, the Nat’l Archives made it their mission to announce that Trump wasn’t cooperating with thee reported efforts to get back documents they believe he took from the White House. This time, however, the raid was apparently an effort to ensure nothing was left behind (and there was according to his own lawyer.)
The Archives have previously stated hat some 15 boxes were at one point missing and needed to be accounted for. Those boxes from the White House even reportedly contained several pieces of classified information that Trump should not have removed from the White House all together. It is unclear why he did his but legal experts are now warning that Trump will likely go to prison if not have his future ability to hold office indefinitely forfeited.
