New Zealand now joins places like Canada in their quest to keep the Proud Boys out of their borders. On Friday, the government announced that the US based group has formally been listed as such over their actions on 6th January in Washington DC.
This now makes it a crime in New Zealand to fund, recruit or participate in the groups, and obligating authorities to take action against them.
A second group known as The Base has also been listed as a terror cell in the country.
