A drug meant to treat (‘vitiligo’) has been approved by the FDA

Vitiligo is getting a breakthrough. According to the United States FDA, officials in the United States have given the OK for a new drug to be sold to the masses. The drug addresses the skin condition known as vitiligo which in essence makes someone lose the originating colour of their skin in most cases. According to records the drug has been identified as Opzelura. It must be applied to discolored areas at least twice a day.

According to the study for the medication, most patients saw pretty good results after about 6 months and almost full restoration of skin colour after a year.
