It’s been a busy week all across the world and an even busier weekend. From Ukraine to the GOP ‘s efforts to turn America into a further twisted version of the popular show The Handmaids Tale let’s jump right into it.
- Ukraine won’t see mercy anytime soon thanks to Putin ‘s bloodbath
Putin ‘s still wagering a war in Ukraine and apparently has no plans on stopping said war despite international condemnation to do so. Over the weekend it appeared Ukrainian soldiers were responsible for a number of Russian deaths including yet another general and a ship.
2. Twitter is responding to Elon Musk ‘s efforts to takeover one of the world’s biggest social media agencies
American social media company Twitter is fighting back against big money. According to reports, the US based agency has adopted what appears to be some sort of “poison pill” to prevent Elon Musk from gaining further shares in the company. It is unclear if this will actually stop him as it appears a number of shareholders are OK with his moves while an equal number are not.
3. Violent crime in New York City is still soaring amid yet another murder in the boroughs

Identified as Orsolya Gaal the 51-year-old woman was found in a blood-soaked duffel bag (yes duffel bag) on a busy Queens street over the weekend. Both her husband and her son are being sought in connection to the grisly murder. Police are understood to have found a trail of blood that led from the duffel bag (it had wheels) back to her Juno street home.

This one isn’t news related. But we just wanted to say and acknowledge that people’s mental health is a topic these days. Check on your friends; family, partners, or even just be kind to someone you bump into on the street. These past two years have pushed allot of people over the edge and not everyone has come to terms with the fact that such is partially brought on by mental health consequences from the pandemic.
5. GOPers are going full Handmaids Tale…
Across America anti abortion bills are becoming law despite breaking the law to begin with but that is the whole purpose. The GOP wants these to go to the Supreme Court at all costs in hopes that the conservative majority will overturn Roe vs Wade which has been law for more than half a century pretty much.
