Etsy sellers are making news this week just days ahead of an apparent fee hike on behalf of the platform. As a result of the fee hike — thousands of users are planning to turn their shops on vacation mode. In a previous memo released in February the online marketplace attempted to justify the transaction fee hike on the fact that sellers have increased their revenues by more than 23% during the pandemic.
