We’ve got an important announcement about upcoming changes to our advertisement(s) policy

This blog post is an effort to shed some light on upcoming changes that are set to take flight once we convene next week with our administrators. Next week, we are set to ban the Russians from advertising in our newspapers for the foreseeable future. Russian citizens who have no known connections to the Kremlin; Vladamir Putin, his cronies or the like will have the option to convene via video link to confirm with valid evidence to an administrator and they will be allowed to produce their advertisements. This announcement is important because we have quite a large Russian audience.

We are making these moves to stop the Russians (and by Russians we mean the Kremlin and such) from appearing in any ads; video ads, vendor based ads and all other forms of ads you see across our network. We have also contacted our many vendors to inform them that ads that appear to suggest they may have originated from the Kremlin; a government agency, a Russian travel agency, or anyone or anything with close inner ties to Putin are to be rejected.
