We are aware of reports that access to our paper in mainland Russia appears to be blocked

Hi everyone,

This is just a quick notice about something we were just made aware of and we would imagine this is because of our Ukrainian coverage and being critical of Putin. Several people in the region have contacted us with the following image showing that it appears in some areas access to the paper has been blocked.

It is unclear why exactly such happened though we are pretty certain it has to do with what we’ve written about Ukraine as we don’t actually have direct business with Russia itself. It is not clear if this is widespread; potentially temporary, or permanent.

We will be activating the ability to fully use a VPN while reading our papers tonight so that access remains readily available to everyone.
