According to reports, despite efforts by prosecutors to offer the killer a cushy plea deal that would’ve seen the convicted killer serve time in fed prison rather than state prison. The original deal would’ve seen Travis serve the first 30 years of his sentence in federal lock-up something that is generally seen as better conditions than state lock-up.
