THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY. VLADIMIR PUTIN OF RUSSIA HAS INVADED UKRAINE AND DECLARED WAR.
The Americans were right. Ukraine has been invaded; Ukraine is under attack, and Russia has launched a full scale invasion of the once independent country. Many are calling this attack the likely precursor to World War III something that Putin has flirted with in the past in an effort to destabilize the west.
Putin ‘s chilling warning to the West is as follows:
“Anyone who tries to interfere with us, or even more so, to create threats for our country and our people, must know that Russia’s response will be immediate and will lead you to such consequences as you have never before experienced in your history,” Mr. Putin said. “We are ready for any turn of events.”
The European Union confirmed that on Thursday emergency meetings would be held to determine the next level sanctions that they claim are being prepared against Putin. America will reportedly follow in the afternoon, however, countries may be running out of time amid reports that hundreds of civilians have already died in the declaration of war.

“The United States and our @NATO allies condemn in the strongest possible terms Russia’s attack on Ukraine. We have been coordinating with our allies to prepare for this moment, and we are ready to respond.”
The Security Council will also meet Thursday as it seeks to widely adopt resolutions to formally hold Putin accountable on a large global scale. It is unclear if any single country intends to send troops into Ukraine to help their aspiring NATO ally.
