Italy’s Queen of Cinema dead at 90

An Italian movie legend is gone. According to Mr. Veltroni, Monica Vitti, 90, has passed away from what appear to be natural causes.

The announcement on Twitter. “Roberto Russo, her life companion for many years, asked me to announce that Monica Vitti is no longer here. I do this with pain, affection and regret,” Veltroni wrote on Wednesday.
