A stunning plot twist in a decade old criminal case in the French Alps has surfaced. According to local authorities, they’ve detained a yet to be identified suspect in a decade old murder case that has gone thus far baffling.

Way back in 2012 Saad al-Hilli, his wife Ikbal and his mother-in-law Souhaila al-Allaf were all vacationing in the remote French town of Annecy. At the time, the then mysterious suspect murdered the entire family.

Prosecutor Line Bonnet confirmed on social media the news this week.
