Prince Harry is taking the British government to task over the removal of his security

Prince Harry (yeah that one) is back in the headlines this week amid reports that he’s taking the Home Office to court over the removal of his security. But the situation isn’t exactly how the government is making it out to sound, bare with us, we’re going to attempt to make sense of what’s going on here.

Here’s how the story reportedly goes. According to US media reports, Prince Harry and wife Megan The Duchess of Sussex are “more than willing” to pay for their own security, thus, the problem isn’t with that but instead the information in which they’d be allowed to see. Their current team doesn’t actually have clearance in the U.K nor does their team have access to privy intelligence information here.

That means that a handful of any potential threats towards Prince Harry and his family would go largely unknown to them simply because nobody told them about them.

“In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home,” a statement said, per People.

For one reason or another (which isn’t entirely clear) the Home Office rejected the Prince ‘s offer to pay for his own security it was just a matter of trying to get them to be able to offer full protection in the U.K. In the revelations, the Prince ‘s lawyers revealed that during his most recent trip to the U.K his security was compromised during a trip to a charity event.
