As widely expected today, killer Scott Peterson will remain behind bars for the rest of his life without ever being given the chance at parole. Following the overturning of his death penalty case last year, Peterson then began trial to get a resentence but was not let off the hook for his heinous crimes. Peterson is serving a life sentence + 15 years for the murder of his wife Laci Peterson and the subsequent death of his unborn child.
. “I’ve seen no sorrow or no remorse from you at all,” said mother Sharon Rocha. “I know you’re going to say you have no remorse because you’re innocent, but you haven’t shown any grief or sorrow for either of them. I still feel the grief every day after 19 years.”
