Tuesday officially marked the kickoff in the case against Jennifer and James Crumbley the two parents in Michigan who let their son Ethan Crumbley shoot up his high school. According to yesterday’s hearing, both Jennifer and James will remain in jail while a staggering number of hours of evidence against them is reviewed by their legal team. They are being held separate from each other and their son who has been charged an as adult in the case.
Jennifer and James are both facing four counts of involuntary manslaughter as accessories to their son’s first degree murder case in the case against him. Their representation confirmed during the hearing that they intend to file a motion next week to lower the bond between them.
Prosecutors are understood to have 40GB of data and at least 500 pages of documents for formal review. They expect the preliminary hearing of the case to begin around February.
