The case against Kim Potter has certainly been an interesting one. For those who may not have been familiar, Potter was previously arrested after murdering Daunte Wright a young Black man. The case was widely reported in America and is one of many that helped fuel the Black Lives Matter movement in recent times.
Potter ‘s testimony this week serves as an idea of sorts as to where her mind is as she’s standing trial for Wright ‘s unjust murder. NBC reports. “We were trying to keep him from driving away. It just, it just went chaotic,” Potter said.
“I remember yelling, ‘Taser. Taser. Taser,'” Potter said Friday. “And nothing happened.”
Elsewhere in the testimony, Potter admitted that she had stopped Wright in part over an alleged air freshener that was hanging from his back window — but in part only did so because she was supposedly training somebody that day.
