US retail store Target Inc has announced that *never again* will it be open on Thanksgiving as many people and stores come to the realisation that most people don’t actually want to shop on Thanksgiving. According to CNN, the company made the decision to stop opening stores on the holiday to be able to ensure that people are home with their families.
“What started as a temporary measure driven by the pandemic is now our new standard,” Target CEO Brian Cornell said in a note to employees.
