Questions mount in the death of Jelani Day as family refutes reports of organ harvesting, FBI assisting investigation

Day ‘s death has not only captivated much of the world it has drawn significant attention due to the fact that he was found with missing eyeballs among other things as we reported earlier this week. Initially, it was widely reported that Jelani Day may have been the subject of a case of organ harvesting although that is unclear as that claim has been refuted by the family (despite the way it appears.)

According to Fox 32 Chicago, Day ‘s family has since released a statement through their attorney signaling that they themselves do not believe that this was a case of harvesting although are hoping the halls of justice will do their diligence to find out exactly what happened. The ways in which Day was actually found in Peru Illinois are pretty gruesome though the family’s attorney maintains that such would’ve been consistent after having been in a river for 11 days.

“There were contradicting facts from the first preliminary autopsy compared to the second independent autopsy, but this is not a case of organ harvesting, however, my son did not put himself in a river. My son was murdered and my goal and purpose are to find out what happened and hold those responsible accountable!!!”
