Norwegian police to start temporarily carrying guns following sudden attack

It has all the ingredients of a terrorist attack but an investigation is ongoing. This week a reported mass attack in the Norwegian town of Kongsberg was reported widely among international headlines. According to CNN, at least 5 people were killed with at least two others seriously injured in what police are saying was a lone-attack.

Norwegian police reportedly told the network that the suspect used a bow/arrow combo during the attack which made it difficult for the police considering they didn’t actually have guns. That part is catching headlines considering the local police force is now determining whether or not to temporarily carry weapons following the sudden attack on the city.

Police also confirmed that they’re still working to question the suspect though it is unclear if they are actually cooperating.
