R. Kelly told a 17-year-old girl he should be able to have sex with very young girls because he’s a “genius”

One thing is for cerain about R. Kelly ‘s trial and that is the fact that it is exposing just how much of a monster Kelly really was. A monster disguised as a music icon who knowingly abused his vast influence and power to overpower young girls and women for his own cruel abusive benefit.

In the latest update to come out of R. Kelly ‘s trial, a 17-year-old “Jane Doe” revealed to the court system that R. Kelly once told her that he should be able to have sex with “young girls” simply because he is a certified genius. The woman only idenitifed using a moniker “Stephanie” is now 39 years old and is the third woman to testify damning allegations against the fallen singer.

“He mentioned that he likes very young girls and that people make such a big deal of it. ‘Even look at Jerry Lee Lewis,’” Stephanie testified Kelly said.

“‘He’s a genius and I’m a genius. We should be allowed to do whatever we want. Look at what we give the world.’”]

Jerry Lee Louis notoriously married his 13-year-old cousin just for context here.

Stephanie testified that the comments took place during a dinner meeting with R. Kelly and two rappers he had worked with at the time in history. She first reportedly met Kelly at the Rock N’ Roll Mcdonalds in Chicago in 1998. At that particular moment in time, the woman declined Kelly ‘s staffers’ attempts to pass a note with his number on it to her even after she told the man her age.

That didn’t stop Kelly from encountering Stephanie the following summer while making an appearance at a Nike store in the area. She then testified that she had went to Kelly ‘s event in hopes of introducing her aspiring singer friend to Kelly in hopes it would jumpstart her career.

They never lived together but she testified that the sexual encounters began when she was just 17. In her testimony, she revealed that despite never having lived with Kelly she would still go on to be forced to always listen to what he said.

The wild testimony is the first time Stephanie has ever spoken about what happened because she feared Kelly ‘s team would release the non-consensual recordings of sex Kelly had against her.
