Trump ‘s inauguration chair has been arrested after the U.S discovered he lobbied for a foreign power

At this going rate it seems most of Trump ‘s cronies work in some fashion for a foreign power. The latest face to go down is none other than Tom Barrack — the man who famously chaired his inauguration event but has since been charged. American officials reportedly maintain that he was a lobbying agent for the UAE (aka the infamous foreign power.)

Prosecutors allege that during his tenure he eventually at one point helped the UAE draft a wish list of goals that they wanted to get in front of Donald Trump. That list as one might imagine allegedly contained pro UAE content that might not have been very beneficial to the United States.

The New York Times reports that his holding company received $1.5B in investments from the UAE and close ally Saudi Arabia as a result of his lobbying efforts. He denies any wrongdoing and reportedly will plead not guilty.
