Everything to know about Drake Bell ‘s child endangerment charge, and what they have against him

Drake Bell ‘s career is essentially (what was left of it anyway after years of decline) over. Though the former actor did plead guilty to the reported child endangerment and assault charges against him — the veracity and the full detailed complaints against him have now been made public. According to documents, Bell is charged with having attempted to groom; sexually abuse, and endanger a young woman who is now 19.

In the same documents, it is revealed that the relationship the young woman had with Bell dated back several years to nearly 2021. A relationship that she says first started online but then quickly turned sexual when she had turned 15 years old. This week marks one of the first time(s) the victim had actually come face-to-face with Bell during victim impact statements in the cases’ latest virtual hearing.

Elsewhere in the documents the extraordinary remark that Bell is a paedophile surfaces in numerous parts of the victims’ statement. As a result of those comments, Bell ‘s attorney reportedly told a judge that such has no merit.

“The claim that he is a pedophile lacks any sort of factual support,” he told the judge, emphasizing Bell does not accept responsibility for that in his plea. The attorney also noted how “professionals” were engaged during the investigation and “there is no such finding” the actor is a “pedophile.”

Bell himself issued this half apology in court as his career came to an end:

“I just want to say today that I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong. I’m sorry that the victim was harmed in any way,” he said. “That was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very, very seriously and again, I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions.”
