Biden admin may try to access text messages in effort to combat vaccine misinformation in America

A set of new reports out Tuesday paints a picture of a Biden administration who is warming up to the idea that America is desperately losing its fight against the Coronavirus. That revelation does in fact come against the backdrop of rising cases in more than 43 states thanks to the Delta variant of the deadly virus.

Of course the report has been hit with much criticism. The DNC is hoping to use aggressive text message tactics and services to dispel vaccine misinformation (which is spreading rapidly in America.) Politico also reports that the criticism is also warranted considering such would be an extraordinary reach of power for the government as vaccinations have never been mandatory in the United States on such a level.

Some have even called it coaxing. Outside of school vaccinations most generally aren’t required unless one goes into a physicians office and participates willingly. A group of DNC staffers is hoping to change that as the country continues to struggle to contain the Delta virus and with more than 91m people still unvaccinated.
