A stunning revelation of murder has Thailand on edge after a pregnant woman was found murdered in a trash bin in her native Nan. Jason Matthew Balze reportedly told authorities in Thailand this week that he had moved to the area with Pitchaporn Kichob in 2017 after having felt she had given him hope for a new lease on life.
On Friday, Gen. Weerachon Boontawee, chief of Provincial Police Region 5′s Detective Department, confirmed that Matthew had fully confessed to the crime though it isn’t fully clear why it happened.
Detectives claim that Kidchob got into an argument with Balze in the moments up to her death which led to a discovery by her mum. Police say that Kidchob ‘s mother showed up at their home in the area after being unable to get her on the phone only to find her dead.
Balze was booked into jail in Chiang Mai at least 100 miles away from the crime scene.
