And in all honesty it appears to make sense considering who actually made the shoes. In Brooklyn, there is a popular company known for its outlandish designs that are often remakes of already available products. According to the product description for the Satan shoes, the shoes were actually designed by MSCHF.

“We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF,” Nike told NBC in a statement. “Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them.”

MSCH is quite known in New York City for its otherwise colourful and usually highly controversial products. In the past, the company released a pair of modified shoes that contained Holy Water from the River Jordan.
