Meghan Markle has revealed the real reason she axed her shitty Dad from her life

Contrary to carefully planted tabloid stories and other media stuff — Meghan Markle revealed during her interview with Oprah really what happened. In the interview, Markle revealed that she dropped her father from her life because he repeatedly lied about tabloid stories he had a hand in creating.

The saga really began to unfold days before their historic wedding when Buckingham Palace learned of a particular planted story and pap photos. A story that went out to be discovered as largely staged but Thomas Markle maintained his dishonesty throughout.

“We called my dad and we asked him, and he said, ‘No, absolutely not,’” Markle told Oprah Winfrey in a segment that aired for the first time Monday. “I said the institution has never intervened in anything for us but they can try to go in and kill this story. But if they do this once, we’re not going to be able to use that same leverage to protect our own kids one day.”
