Marjorie Taylor Green suddenly regrets her past but doesn’t apologize for it

Marjorie Taylor Green spent her Thursday apparently regretting her past but refusing to apologize for it. On Thursday reports emerged that Green would reportedly face a House vote to be booted from the committees in which she is on — something Republicans have outright refused to do as a result of her stunningly ignorant past.

“I was allowed to believe things that weren’t true and I would ask questions about them and talk about them and that is absolutely what I regret,” she said Thursday, per the Wall Street Journal. “If it weren’t for the Facebook posts and comments that I liked in 2018, I wouldn’t be standing here today and you couldn’t point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong, because I’ve lived a very good life that I’m proud of.”

Republicans meanwhile maintain that she’s done nothing wrong and instead are accusing Democrats of a power grab.
