U.S Lawmakers are now pretty much under armed watch 24/7 until Joe Biden becomes President of the U.S

And that’s according to a newly released directive per Capitol Hill. According to reports — lawmakers across the aisle will now receive extended security measure when traveling to and from the area due to the heightened concern following the Capitol Complex terror attacks.

Axios reports that the measure will involve Capitol Police and Air Marshals being placed in and around the area’s airports in D.C to ensure that lawmakers have a smooth travel. Recently, several lawmakers were openly harassed inside airports during their travel.

On the other side of the coin, aviation officials have confirmed that future instances like those on flights to D.C earlier this week will not be tolerated. Federal aviation officials made it clear Sunday that strong federal action will be taken against those who dare to disrupt flights while they’re in the air putting themselves and dozens of others in danger.
