MIAMI, FLORIDA —- American rapper Lil Wayne is headed back to likely jail. According to court records in Florida, the controversial rapper and MAGA supporter is facing upwards of 10 years in jail on weapons charges. Prosecutors allege that on 23 December 2019 federal authorities found a gold plated gun and 6 rounds of ammunition on his private jet after having landed in sunny south Florida. It is unclear what tipped them off to the event.
He was also found to be in possession of multiple drugs at the time however FL authorities have decided against charging him with drug-related crimes.
