Report: A radiowave has been detected in Space as astronomers race to identify who or what made it

The only other recorded time such has happened is known as the “Wow! Signal” back in the day. That signal was also a radio frequency that was once thought to have come from intelligent life in Space. This time yet another radio frequency believed to be around 980mhz has been detected near Proxima Centauri. Proxima Centauri is the closest star to the sun about 4.2 light years away.

Right now, their research has turned up no evidence that it came from terrestrial objects (satellites humans and such might have put up there.) Many are cautioning the discovery but still remaining optimistic that once a determination has been made as to where it came from —- humans on earth might have a better idea eventually of what’s going on up there.
