Remember their names —- pardons or not these #Blackwater guards are war criminals and terrorists

For allot of you — some might be unaware while others might be a little young to know what we’re talking about. So before we begin, we’ll give a brief overview of the seriousness of these pardons and why they should be considered a gross violation of international law.

Blackwater is a military group that in 2007 saw four of its contractors charged in what would become one of the gravest missteps by the United States on foreign soil ever (probably 2nd and 3rd only to the invasions in the Middle East and so on.) That incident would then come to be known as the Nisour Square Massacre. The names of those contractors are as follows:

But what most don’t realize is that these pardons are likely favours considering Blackwater is run by Erik Prince the brother of none other than outgoing Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos — the billionaire hack that nearly took out the US education system.

Each of these men were convicted and sentenced to their respective prison sentences. They killed 17 people some of them including children when they illegally shot up a bunch of Iraqi civilians against the backdrop of faulty claims they were being shot at. An Iraqi report at the time found their claims of being provoked unsubstantiated and that is partially what later led to their convictions in the United States.

This is yet again American privilege running amuk when it comes to Brown lives. Innocent Iraqi lives were lost for no reason and now they’ve gotten away with it.
