Movies are certainly something we’ve become accustomed alongside given the lockdown orders and such plaguing much of the world. For Sunday’s entry in our movie catalog, we’re going to review The 2nd starring Ryan Phillippe. The 2nd is about a political family and their daughter who is nearly kidnapped by Russian operatives.
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Editors comments: Phillippe is an action star at his finest. High-action; ass kicking, straight up coolness reigns supreme throughout The 2nd. While some of the acting lines seem a bit dull, the action makes up for where the lines leave off.
High moments: Ryan faces off with a set of corrupt CIA officials apparently trying to overturn citizens’ right to the 2nd Amendment. Thrilling; fun, and a partial edge of your seat action film — it is definitely worth the watch.
Low moments: the poor accents on behalf of the villains might easily be confused for a little offensive.
